Todd McLellan, as a part of the “Things Come Apart” series has fully disassembled a Macintosh Classic down to each screw. The result is truly stunning.
Things Come Apart is an expansion of the original Disassembly Series. This new set of images explores retro to modern daily items that have, are, or will be in our everyday lives. The book “Things Come Apart” published by Thames & Hudson will be available May.
The Macintosh Classic was originally introduced in October of 1990, being the first Apple Macintosh to retail under $1000. The low end model featured 1MB of RAM, no HDD, and an 8MHZ CPU. It was discontinued two years later.
