Capital One Software released a new commissioned study, “Leverage Self-service Data Strategies to Drive Business Value,” by Forrester Consulting that reveals the biggest challenges data leaders face when implementing a self-service data strategy across their organization.
As demand for enterprise data grows, the study finds that adopting self-service data strategies – which allow more users to quickly access data insights without relying on technical teams – face a number of obstacles. Those include maintaining user-friendly environments (49%), increasing data trust and quality (49%), scaling self-service for decentralized environments (47%) and applying the appropriate data governance (85%.). Even before getting started, 57% report difficulty figuring out how to begin self-service data strategies.
